Following releases} of party mini-game insanity, it seems Ubisoft is now taking an alternative method. Rabbids Go Home reveals the happenings after the Rabbids’ amazing wild party in Television Party, as the window’s curtains open and the Rabbids remember that there’s a whole world beyond to explore. Moreover, after all the excitement, their first instinct is to go home. Where’s home? Well, they don’t exactly understand, but their best conclusion is the moon. This prompts the game’s heroes to begin carting around a grocery cart, throwing stuff within to collect for a large tall pile that should finally make a towerthat gets to the moon. Supposedly.

Well that’s Rabbids Go Home sense for you. Anyway, countless people will be pleased to know that not like previous titlesin the franchise, Rabbids Go Home isn’t a party game. Instead, it is a linear adventure. A “comedy adventure”, as Ubisoft has labelled it, which is sort of fitting thinking the gameplay itself is absolutely hysterical. To explain it, it’s fundamentally a pair of Rabbids running around each level on some form of locomotion. The majority of the time it is the grocery cart, but often certain peculiar situations will pop up, like when the Rabbids snap off an aeroplane turbine and finish up steering it round the level.

As for the controls, movement is achieved through the nunchuk’s analog. The A command is utilized to keep things in high speed and B is pressed to make a short but swift dash forward. Confrontation itself is sort of non-existent, and it is sometimes more about manipulating the level rigorously and defeating those that challenge you. Nintendo Wii consoles have taken the world by storm and this was proven by shortages at Christmas times for the last two years! The characters are all intricate and interesting in their own way. Just as Disney did when it created it’s characters starting with Mickey Mouse, Nintendo has expanded it’s characters from the Mario series all the way back to the Mario 64 days and even earlier. These designs and names are known to us all.
Chose your own cart or bike with details from speed, weight, acceleration, handling, drift, off road mini turbo, wheels, rims, and tires differ per vehicle. Manual or Automatic Drift are also options, like in Too Fast Too Furious Tokyo Drift with Nitrous boosters.
Once you have chosen your car and your character it is time to pick the race you wish to run. Chose your circuit racetracks from new and old tracks, some are from Gameboy, Super Nintendo, Game Cube, Nintendo DS, and of course new tracks designed specifically for the Wii. Each of these circuits shows a map of the track on the right hand of the screen. Don’t watch that too close though or the obstacles may wipe you out. These obstacles include but are not limited to 18 wheelers and stars not to mention there is always the risk of just running off the track. These circuits each have 3 levels of difficulty beginner, medium, and expert.
You can complete the circuits for trophies and even get grades on how well you whomp the completion. This grade allows you to unlock more characters, vehicles, and options. In other words, winning is not the only purpose in this video game. There are so many more facets that just what place you finish the race.
You are not resigned to be a solo player on this either. You can also play as a team. As with any real racing group, just look at Karters of America Racing Triad and how everyone while in competition works together. Join a team and compete together. Work together to achieve your goals. Or you can battle for balloons or coins, a form of go karting reminiscent to the old game of combat.
Over all I think the only group who really dislikes the Wii’s would be Washington Internship Institute, for making its name the same as the Institute’s acronym. Or maybe by this time they have resigned themselves to it and appreciate the recognition they get every time someone looks for the Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel-Nintendo Wii.

Super Mario Galaxy is by far the greatest Wii game every made. The game includes the usual cast of characters from the Mario universe. Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, the little mushroom dude, that weird star thing, are all represented in this game.

I have to admit that my game purchases, like the Super Mario Galaxy, don’t fit my wallet so to speak.
